Seasonal updates

Refresh without renovation

Homes should evolve with the year. Heavy wool throws suit an Irish autumn; lightweight linen and fresh flowers welcome spring. Our seasonal update service makes those transitions deliberate rather than accidental, swapping textiles, table settings, and entryway styling to match daylight and mood.

This is not about chasing trends or filling rooms with disposable décor. We work within your existing palette and storage capacity, rotating pieces you already own and suggesting only a few thoughtful additions when gaps appear.

Spring and autumn visits

Each visit covers up to four focus areas — typically a living room, dining surface, main bedroom, and hallway. We arrive with a checklist developed from your previous session, assess what stored items should return to view, and restyle surfaces, shelves, and seating layers on the spot.

Where shopping is needed, we provide a concise list with budget options rarely exceeding €200 per item. Many clients prefer we shop on their behalf; a half-day sourcing trip within Dublin costs €95 plus goods and parking, coordinated in advance.

Pricing

A single seasonal visit costs €320. The annual subscription — one spring and one autumn appointment — is €580, saving €60 compared with booking separately. Additional rooms beyond the standard four focus areas are €65 each per visit.

Subscription clients receive priority scheduling in March and September, our busiest months. Cancellation with less than forty-eight hours' notice forfeits that visit but does not affect the remaining appointment in the subscription year.

What we adjust

Textile layers are the primary lever: cushion covers, throws, bed linen, and curtain liners if you maintain a secondary set. We also refresh console and mantel styling, dining table centrepieces, and entryway hooks or benches where coats and bags accumulate.

Lighting shifts matter too. We recommend bulb warmth changes and reposition portable lamps to complement longer or shorter evenings. Scented candles and simple greenery — forced bulbs in spring, dried stems in winter — add sensory depth without clutter.

Storage and sustainability

Seasonal rotation requires somewhere to put off-duty items. We help label and organise loft or cupboard storage so transitions take minutes rather than hours. Clear bins, garment bags for delicate textiles, and a simple inventory sheet prevent duplicate purchases.

We favour natural materials that improve with age and avoid fast-fashion homeware. When new pieces are needed, we prioritise Irish makers, second-hand finds, and brands with transparent supply chains. Quality over quantity remains the guiding principle.

Email [email protected] to join the seasonal calendar or arrange a one-off refresh before hosting guests or listing a property. Mention your preferred months and any allergy or scent sensitivities so we plan accordingly.

New clients often combine an initial layout or colour consultation with a seasonal subscription starting the following quarter. Ask about bundled pricing when booking both services together.
